We got THE call!

So most of you have already gotten the email we sent out about THE call we just got! We are very excited to be taking care of a very precious little girl who was born on 9/17/08. She is going to be staying with us until October 10th. Though we only get to have her for a short while, we are very excited to get the chance to take care of her. We will certainly enjoy the little bit of time we get to have with our temporary guest (angel!).

UPDATE: On October 10th our temporary "little one" went to live with a family member. Her case worker picked her up at 3:00 pm. Though we knew it would come, today was a difficult day - even after only 10 days with her. Despite how hard it is to see her go, we both know in our hearts this is exactly what we are supposed to be doing. We have been blessed with the tools (a home, a strong support group, a natural love for children, guidance for the right thing to do) to allow us to do these things. How could we not continue when it is so clearly laid out for us that this is His plan for us? So we will push through what proves to a quiet night (too quiet and despite not gettig up for feedings we still won't likely sleep soundly) and (anxiously) await our "turn" to do this all over again.
